So I can't sleep. What's new? Its 2:04am as I start to write this. I don't know what's keeping me from sleeping. Had a great day. Bit my lip, sorta. The dog got scared, bumped her head on my chin, causing me to gash open my lip. Ouch! Time to try and doze off I guess. A minute journal! Wooh!

I've been thinking a lot lately as to what it means to "have a job." Is having a job something you can do alongside a career? See, my main career is and always will be Photo Journalist. No matter what, that is what I do. Now if I take a job at Fotech or Me N Eds Pizza, does that mean I've given up my career? Id like to think it doesn't mean that. Do I really want to work a retail job? Not really, but the economy is so bad, I even gave back the non-refundable deposits on my cancellations last month because I felt deep down in my heart it was the thing to do. Sure I have to take on a day job to afford contacts and to pay rent and cell phone bills. But that really doesn't mean any less on someones status of how well they execute their professional "career". Wow, what a rant. In closing I guess I'll say I don't feel too bad, I have not gone bankrupt like the amazing Annie Leibovitz ..... yet. Haha.

Dear buzznet I feel like I've forgotten you. Abandoned you. So sad. I tend to update more when I'm traveling. I've had some issues posting pix via email but whatever. I can just upload via mobile browser. So not too much is going on. Saw the New Kids On The Block a week or so ago. So much fun. I got some great photos and video I'll be uploading for those of you interested. Im def. Gonna be at No Doubt/Paramore/The Sounds when they roll thru Fresno so if you're going I will see you there! I know a lot of my friends are heading to the east coast to catch Bamboozle. Im super excited to see photos from the festival! Bamboozle left photos looked so good. I love seeing shots of random people having fun and the bands looked so energetic. Im trying to get over a cold, which my friend Tim is tryin to tel me is the swine flu. I have been pretty tired lately... hmmm. I want to update my layout on here and clean things up a bit. I know I say that every now and again but I mean it! ;) Time to go walk the pup! Fall Out Boy Rock Leno Outdoor Concert Series

Performing as part of the Outdoor concert series, Fall Out Boy took the stage and rocked the audience of tonights The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Performing their latest single "Americas Suitehearts" during which Brendon Urie of Panic At The Disco (first band signed to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz record label, Decaydance Records) came out and accompanied Patrick Stump on vocal duties.[cut=Read more...]

They taped a few commercials with Leno and then took the stage yet again to perform another song off their recently released Folie A Deux. You'll have to check out the tonight show web-site to catch a video of the performance and find out which song they played. Be sure to check out Fall Out Boy on their upcoming headlining tour Believers Never Die Part Deux.

NO TWITTER SUNDAY So I have decided to not Tweet on Twitter on sunday. No Twitter includes: not checking it to see friends updates. Not tweeting. What else? Yeah that's pretty much it. Im drunk off words not written for me but a girl can clearly dream, seems a right of passage, I guess we'll see. A terrible cough from too cold weather last night. Went out with Jeanette to Olive Garden haha. Had a glass and a half of Merlot. Delicious. Had a glass or two maybe three more. I think alcohol happens to be the cause of my insomnia. What? Yes. I took a stroll down memory lane. Random concerts every month in my teens. Nothing much has changed but I now get paid to photograph. No more sneaking cameras in hah. I really enjoying writing things down at 5a.m. When all the world should just be waking up and I'm finally resting my head to the pillow. Xoxo

This is definitely journal worthy: I FOUND A PAIR OF COWBOY BOOTS FOR 5$ Sarah Saturday can attest to the fact that these are very trendy here in Fresno from her recent show here with her band GARDENING, NOT ARCHITECTURE. So, in conclusion, these boots are an amazing find. I did find a wine holder made out of metal and wire but dnw due to the fact it would not be used.
