looking through old photographs, sometimes i just want to go back in time.
i love Yosemite. is that not one of the most gorgeous things you've ever seen? it's Mirror Lake. i LOVE it there.
i think i'm going to go there sometime next week.

this saturday  the 26th is my birthday. there is an Iris festival in Porterville that i kind of want to go to. i think it'd be pretty sweet to see thousands of Irises in full bloom on my birthday, being that my name is Iris haha. yellow Irises are my all time favorite and i hear there are a lot in bloom out there right now. just beautiful.

so i guess i will be photographing Sean Kingston on May 4th and then on May 5th The Used and then also Boys Like Girls but no date on that one yet.

photography is really keeping steady at the moment. love it!

time to get back to the day job!

I just made a banner for the apt. complex stating that its earth day and please do your part to recycle today and everyday! Helps keep our world (and apt. complex) clean haha. It's rather chilly out. Flip flops and Orange Spice Rooibos Tea are my favorite things right now. Yummy. Time to work.

a lot has been going on.
have not had time to update much.

i was in the bay area visiting friends and family and i came back with a little more insight than i had thought i would and i'm learning to find things out on my own.

weird how seeing someone you haven't seen in a while, who has changed, makes you think about yourself in all the good and bad.

i am enjoying my new career :) i have a lot of time to read and meditate which is fantastic because i have de-stressed of any worries i had and my life is super great. better than it has ever been.

i went shopping yesterday, had jamba juice, white gummy bear is yummy. went to borders and bought a couple books, one that was recommended to me is An Open Heart: Practicing Compasssion in Everyday Life by The Dalai Lama. I was told it was a great book and I'm finding it's better than that. If you have a chance to read it, please do. I'm  almost done with it and I'm more than sure I'll re-read it ten times over. And even if you don't have the time to read, pick out a chapter and read it. Don't worry about reading the whole thing at once, even the introduction is good.

I'm listerning to the Beatles and enjoying the wonderful scent of Nag Champa while Clearning up my new office of my new job!

I now manage properties in Central California. What a weird day job huh? Love it though because as musch stress as it could be, it really isn't. And I have weekends off. And my birthday as well.

In such a good mood!

And I get new business cards! Now I'll have two, one for photography and one for managing rental properties haha.

I have some space outside my office to plant gorgeous bulbs. Not light bulbs, but flowers, like Irises <3 I want to plant Sun Flowers as well. We'll see. My current favorite past time right now is gardening. Whats your favorite past time right now?

I  just found out that a dear friend of mine, who was like a grandmother to me, passed away on Dec 7th 2007. I am really at a loss of words over this. I did love her and she meant a lot to me. I hope her family knows that she meant a lot to everyone who she had in her life. She will be missed.
