trying to figure out my schedule for l.a. on jan 11th - ???? yeah.
not sure how long i'll be staying, where i'll be staying and what it all entails but it will be killer.
no doubt about that.

lots of shopping, photographing, and lots more i'm sure.
i haven't been to venice beach in ages so i want to go and see whats going on over there.
i want  to go on a ferris wheel at night.
it sounds so cheesey, but think about it.
overlooking a city, water, people, anything.
i'm sure it'd be fun.

haha so I bought this cute tiny bottle of skae as a gift for a friend at work but I loved it so much I had to open it to see what the heck this thing was.
It comes with a plastic cap as a cup for you to drink it from!
How handy, and dandy!
The smell is very very strong, but alas what do you expect from a 2.99 bottle of sake? lol

So here in Stockton the only club we have is Envy.
It's kind of an "ultra lounge" if you will.
Hanna and I may be going out there, hopefully for a night of Martinis and dancing.

So I'm working on something right now that I know will be fantastic!

I am super tired but I can't sleep. I still have plenty of Christmas shopping to do. I bought a small Metallic Pink Christmas tree and decked it out in gold.

so spent all day tuesday and some of wed. morning in los angeles with dana for her 23rd birthday.
yay!
found a cute ring at the farmers market at the grove.
can someone please tell me what the hype is over pinkberry?
i mean, honestly, it's like all the other yogurt places we have here in nor cal.
i just don't get it.

back to work work work today.

i painted my nails fire engine red a week ago and the color is still strong.
i love it.

So I am transferring from the Music Dept. to the Book Floor.
I decided that I wanted to spend more time focusing on my Photography Career and in order for me to do that, I have to have less responsibilities at my day to day job thus leaving me with more time to Photograph.

This is a pretty huge thing for seeing as I LOVE MUSIC and the music dept is the ultimate dream for me because what else do I get to do but talk about Music, Music and Music all day with people.
Being on the book floor however, I feel, will make me less stressed out.
Theres a lot going on in that music dept. behind the scenes and being the only one back there in a leader/manager position for a couple of months really was a eye opener for me on what I REALLY WANT TO DO WITH MY LIFE.
Being a Lifer at B&N is not one of those things I see myself doing.
Being a Full Time Photographer of all things Music is totally what I see myself doing.

So with that, I shall go to sleep so I can wake up at 8am and be at work at B&N from 11-7.
After work, I will go out to Valley Brew (which I luckily live next door to) and have a few martinis to celebrare my finally figuring out that this photography thing I adore is really all I want to do in life and the next day sleep in late because it's my day off.
When I wake up (hopefully I won't have too much of a headache) I will search high and low on the interwebs for job listings and submit myself to as many magazines as possible.
I already work freelance with two of my fave music magazines but I need something a little more stable in additon to those.

i'm home sick.
so what better to do with my time than upload photos right? i'm so in love with the space heater thing right now. it's my new bf for serious.

i'm still sifting through the first nights photos from san jose and the second night, sacramento i only photographed doug and fall out boy.
the fall out boy shots are on a sd card at my cousins house so those wont be online until she wakes up and brings me the card because she has dial-up and can't send the photos like any normal person.

in other news a review i wrote of a cd is up on barnes and noble and it has typos! lol a place such as barnes and noble allowing a review with typos? that's like going to starbucks and them selling drinks that do not have caffiene! or something.

i can't wait until jan. to go back to so cal. i love the beach too much. anywho, time to finish what i was doing.
