So yesterday we saw the release of a few cd's I had to pick up.

1.Ryan Adams E.P. which is amazing.
2.Neil Young - Chrome Dreams
3. Cobra Starship - Viva La Cobra

Sold only one copy of Each of the first two, and sold two copies of the 3rd at work yesterday.

I have to admit, Viva La Cobra was better than I anticipated. Kiss My Sass has become one of the favorite songs and I can not wait until Cobra Starship go on tour.

On DVD Hostel 2 and Saw 3 were released in pefect time for Halloween. Did we sell any yesterday? No. Why? Because everyone is downloading now instead of actually purchasing DVDs which is a sad thing for us.

Anyhow, I am off to try and style my new haircut. Buzznet isn't uploading video correctly right now, I'm trying to add an interview in my video section that I did with Dan of The Fold during warped tour, for PopFiction, my music blog which I am now moving to this buzznet.

I love this photo.

 I just put in a mix cd I made of weezer back in 1998 lol
I can hardly believe I still have CDs from back then.

Right now in my view of things, there aren't too many great "altrock" bands out in the "scene".
If anyone has some suggestions, send them along my way!
I need some more new music.

I am sick and it is gross.
Lastnight I had a migraine that came along with a fever and I kept tossing and turning and I threw up whatever I ate yesteday, which was a bunch of junk, so I can see my body rejecting it.
I work at B&N tonight from 3-Closing.
I hope I can handle a cup of coffee because the toast I just had isn't seeming to settle as well as I hoped it would have.

Books and books.
Someone sent me a sort of Instant Message here on buzznet the other day asking me what I was doing, I replied "Reading a book" to which they said "reding is gay"
Well, I am assuming they meant reading, not reding.
But either way, why is it that hardly anyone reads anymore?
Working in a bookstore, I just assume that people read, because our customers are going in to buy books.
But clearly, people hardly read these days.
I think I'm going to pick up a copy of Catcher in the Rye to refresh myself with it because I think the last time I read it fully, was when I was 14.

I am currently awaiting SouthWest Airlines to refund some money from some tickets and this is the most excruciating process with a refund I have ever dealt with.
Leaving it at that.

I want to participate in the Thanksgiving Run and Walk  it helps benefit the needy during the holidays and is for a great cause, so if you guys can, donate food, money or time to them.
I think this Thanksgiving I'll be doing that and volunteering at the shelter downtown.

I just talked dana into going to ihop with me cos taste of brittany will be close when she gets out of work.

I haven't been eating chocolate as of late and I just had a Godiva Chocoiste bar that a customer at work bought me.
My tummy hurts.

In other news, I have this weekend off which is going to be nice because I can stay in and read Eric Claptons book, his autobiography which I am off to read right now.

The Steelers!
Ok, you don't ever want to see me watch a Steelers game.
Serious.
I've been a Steelers fan since 2005 when a friend and I were pretty much forced into watching Football every sunday and monday night.
One day I saw Ben Roethlisberger run across the screen and do his thing, I was instantly hooked.
He is awesome.
Hands down.
Do I watch football any other time?
No, not really.
If it's on, maybe.
But only really for the Steelers.

I miss a lot of people and things places times.
Ms.Stina who was my favorite person to visit on my lunch at the mall. She and her boyfriend let me crash at their house for a month or so. They're two truly un-believable people. We went to eat pizza at Davids Pizza almost every other day. Pepperoni and Pineapple. I haven't had it since they moved to Long Beach in June and I am having withdrawls so I am going there today for Linner (Lunch/Dinner combo.)

So it is up in the air about the Ohio trip at the moment. Tuesday I will know for sure if I am going.

One more thing, I do not own photoshop. I use Microsoft Digital Image Starter Edition 2006 which means it's the trial version that only lets me add text and resize haha.
I do not photoshop my photos, if you see me at a show and are still un certain, you can view my LCD screen on my camera and you'll see what you see here. :)

Hi to all the people who have come flooding over from somewhere.

 I just got a few eMails and msgs from some fans of a band who I photographed for the heck of it.
No photo pass at the shows, I went to have a good time and watch a show and support the bands.
I've gotten IM's alerting me that somehow I have become the topic on a bands livejournal and this is a little odd to me and somehow there are a few misconceptions about me.

Let me clear this up.

1) I work FREELANCE for bands and/or magazines. I photograph a lot of musicians and concerts for various things. Kerrang! being the one that has used the most of my photos and bands using them for their MySpace pages.

2) I am the Assistant Music Manager of the Music Dept. at Barnes & Noble Stockton, CA. I am proud to work there because A) I LOVE music. Any job that enables me to talk about what I love is something I want in my life. So please don't diss working at B&N. Some very lovely people work alongside me, and also, there have been a few rockstars who I am sure A LOT of you ADORE who have worked at Barnes & Noble before and while making it in the industry.

3) Thanks for all the good and bad feedback. :) I have yet to hear anything truly bad, so thank you for being so kind and saying nice things instead of bashing me :)

P.S. I am just a normal gal. I'm sure all of you who have met me at shows can attest to that! ;)

This week I will be out shopping again, this time staying in Stockton looking for clothes over the weekend for the guys.

Trip to Ohio in November, will be finding Midwest and East Coast style for the guys out in Cincy and hopefully catching a concert, my work will be the same time The Academy Is... are playing there so I'll probably see about going to a show or two.

Saturday I am photographing Dionne Warwick. She is an amazing person and I can not wait for that event to take place. I know I love photographing rock shows, but I love music in general so this is a big deal for me and I am terribly happy about having this opportunity.

I have to go find out about getting my passport today before I head to work.
Which means I should be off and getting ready.
