So today I did the guys hair and they look so different.
It's crazy what a shade darker on one person, and a new color on another person can do.
Amazing.
I can't wait to show the world what they look like.
It's pretty weird working on a project and not being able to show it off when you're so excited about it.

I am trying to stay warm and start my day.
Actually I need to get ready for work, 8:30am-4:30 and then at 5:30 I have a make-up session/photoshoot thing.
I'm cold and sh-sh-shaking.
I find out today if I get my approved vaction time.
*keeps fingers crossed*

Banres and Noble bowling party was the other night.
Photos will be posted either tonight or tomorrow.

 The past week has been funfilledchaoticlove!
I am now in the process of not having so much to do and I feel an inevitable crash coming a long.
Yesterday I was in San Francisco shopping with The Band Who Shall Remain Nameless.
We got some good threads and took a few sample photos.
I want to post them but alas, all is not ready yet.
Instead I shall post a photo of A Skylit Drive I shot from backstage on the left.

So yesterday, had a blast shopping and drinking too much Starbucks.
I love Stella by Stella McCartney.
It smells like heaven.
I love too many things right now.
Time to go get ready for the day and not bum around on the internet.

So here it is!

I have been getting messages on AIM asking if I am dating this one guy.
To answer your questions, No, I Am Not Dating Anyone.
And even if I was, why care so much?
Unless you don't want to see me get hurt, then aww, that's sweet.
But other than that, No, I am not dating anyone.
Thanks for Making me feel the pain of being alone when it's raining outside and not having someone to snuggle and drink tea and hot chocolate with!

Anyhow, I have a photoshoot thing today for Mary Kay which is weird.
I am always the one photographing.
Today, I shall be the one being photographed!
Odd how the tables have turned!

Tomorrow is San Francisco to take the boys shopping!
The Band Who Shall Remain Nameless and I are going on a shopping spree!
Well, sort of.
Haight St. here we come!
I'll be doing some shopping too of course.
How can I not?

Off to walk in the rain to catch the bus to work!

P.S. I've started keeping a paper journal. I never understood when people said it felt therapeutic to write out thoughts onto a piece of paper.... now I do.

I can not fall asleep and I have to be up at 6am, a little under 3 hours.
Someone suggest a book for me to read.
I was starting on Nikki Six: Heroin Diaries, however I don't think my eyes can handle the type font used.

Saw The Academy Is... again yesterday in SF which was as unplanned as we could get.
Dana stood in line to hold a spot as I waited in another line for tickets.

Let me say this and put some of your little minds to rest.
The guys in TAI and all of their road crew are nothing but the most genuinley sincere people you could ever meet in your life.

The show was pretty rocktastic seeing as they were at the Warfield and it was more bang for your buck with the killer lightshow going on behind their huge banner behind them as they played.
Their stage presence was undoubtedly felt through the entire theatre up to the balcony and then some.
I saw Brand New at the Warfrield earlier this year and they didn't even compare the the intesity of the performance that TAI gave off lastnight.
Seeing them at the Empire in Sac which was a smaller venue made lastnights show a little bit of a, I'm at a loss for words I guess.
I guess seing a band at a small venue will always be the highlight of a tour, but both shows were equally splendid.

A lot happened and it's too much to write and a lot I want to keep to myself because it's just too funny, too sweet and too interesting haha.

Mike Carden, you rock for giving to the homeless poet outside. 
As do you Michael Guy Chislett for the same reason.
I ended up with the poets paper he was selling and he really did write some great poetry.
I'll post some in a journal sometime.

Now back to the real world and working at my regular job at Barnes & Noble as the Assistant Music Manager.

We have A Skylit Drive coming through tonight for a signing and then I get to photograph them at the Empire in Stockton tonight.

No rest for the not so wicked I guess.

So I landed a job as the stylist for a local band to the 209 area.
This is a much coveted position as the band is in talks to be working with Ronnie Montrose on their debut album.
Honestly, this is pretty exciting for me because as most of you know, have dabbled with duties as a stylist before on photoshoots I have shot, however this is taking it to a whole new level.

It keeps my little picture up there in the top 6 and makes it easier for others to view me and I can get work from this.
As much as I love working at Barnes & Noble and doing Concert Photography free lance with Kerrang! and Alternative Press and other things locally, I really want to step it up and this helps get me exposure.


So lastnight Dana and I saw The Academy Is... and let me tell you, they're nothing short of amazing.
I saw them in 2006 on the Warped Tour in San Fran and then in Concord at Honda Civic Tour which you can see a couple photos in this post here. They always put on a great show, and no I am not biased because I own their cd's and enjoy their music. Seeing them live in 2006 is what made me go out and actually buy their cd. Their performance then blew me away and I have been into their music because of it.
How many bands can you say actually rock way more live than they do on cd these day? Not too many, but TAI totally do and that's why you should check them out over at their myspace page


I took some photos lastnight however I haven't uploaded themyet, however they will be up Sunday for sure as that is my day off from Barnes & Noble.
Gotta love being the Assistant Music Manager haha. 

We got a parking ticket in Sacramento right before the show started yesterday. I am now in San Francisco today trying to deal with the car situation which is way too long to get into. I am missing work and am missing my bed.

Tomorrow the Bravery are playing in Sacramento. I really want to go to that but I have prior engagments to photograph A Skylit Drive which is just as fine, however I have not seen The Bravery and I have been dying to see them since 2005. I guess it's just as well, I'll still swoon over their music if I see them live or not.

I will probably be spending too much money today in San Francisco. I love shopping. I need a new pair of earrings. Something black and white with crystals. Apparently my gold hoop earrings and Dana and my Gold Headbands made an impression lastnight haha. :) Good Times.

Well, I am off to finish getting ready for the day.

i have also become the go to girl when guy friends need love advice.

i have also become the girl who attracts guys date-worthy, but when i hang out with them, they're not at all who they portrayed themselves to be.
